Alexander Capital
Every investment (of time/sweat and/or capital) is made and represented by an international family Trust maintained overseas. Alexander Capital is the primary equity shareholder in all of the projects I am involved in, and is there to manage the distribution of wealth amongst my family. I am not personally a shareholder in any venture, and neither is anyone else who is a part of the central holding Trust.
Digital TX
Based in Mayfair, Digital TX started as a vehicle for my own freelance work but now is a well-established specialist digital media consultancy focusing exclusively on IPTV and video on-demand. It was designed as a bridge between content owners and technology companies, working in equal measure to jointly educate and advise around 60 high-profile clients in project strategy, new technologies, content acquisition, systems design and deal brokering. Digital TX is my day to day business and has grown to include a network of industry resources – a global content exchange program, a news service, widely published article libraries, a range of workshops and a recruitment database.

BEL/Prophecy
Broadband Entertainment Ltd (“BEL”) is the big one - a digital media start-up company based in Mayfair working on a massive and revolutionary global content trading and distribution platform that will transform the Internet into a worldwide TV network. At present, the company has evolved to a very advanced stage in the planning process and is seeking series A funding to roll out an enterprise trial in Europe of its service. BEL is without doubt what the people who have seen it have labelled it - the most ambitious and ground-breaking project the media industry has ever seen.
Ignite
In the course of creating BEL, I needed a small core of experienced business support professionals to help me develop the idea and be able to package it correctly to gain the financing it needs. As such, the resulting team of 4 (or “cell” as we like to call it) has become a pilot program for a new incubator company, which has been named Ignite. Ignite has access to hundreds of HNWs (high net worths, or “angels”) looking to help mentor and prepare entrepreneurs and their business plans. The deal is simple – if Ignite helps you, you help them with the next candidate by becoming part of the incubation team.
Talk TM
Talk Telemarketing is my mum’s own telemarketing company that she runs from home and a small office in Hampshire. It has a great brand, a growing reputation for getting excellent results in difficult conditions and is managed very soundly. It’s a small business with a deliberately modest list of high-value customers, which is a fantastic achievement in such a cynical industry. I helped put it together, set up and design the technology, create the business package and spend a lot of my time devising direction and strategy.
Idea: A trustworthy and high quality telemarketing company with great technology

Roseline Publishing
Roseline is our second family venture, and came out of two separate issues: the first was the business my stepfather was generating in proof-reading books and manuscripts, and the second that I decided very quickly that it would make far more sense to self-publish the books I’m writing that need to come out this year (IPTV The Open 4th Platform and Christianity 2.0). We’re still working on the details for the company, but it will offer a full range of great value physical and electronic publishing services and has a very unique “angle” that will drive demand - one that will be unveiled when we soft launch later this year.

Devils Lane Media
Devils Lane is a holding company I have available that I can put a lot of my creative ideas under – TV programs, music projects and movie screenplays. It holds the worldwide commercial rights for Cartel (iTV video game), Secret Kingdoms (screenplay), A Son Of Perdition (screenplay), Rockstar Karoake (event), Radford Park (screenplay), 21st Century Fairytale (screenplay), Getting Away With It (TV Format), Bastard (TV Format) and Urban Bliss Collective (screenplay). I’m looking to develop these in the next few years and mostly work on them in my spare time which means, of course, that they are never finished

Clubwizard
Run by Adam Forman and based in North London, Clubwizard was one of the very first promoters to use the web and invent the trend of taking cameras into nightclubs to document people’s nights out on a commercial basis. The “Wizard” brand has grown steadily over the last few years to include ticket buying, restaurant booking, and many other things. I built a lot of the family of technology engines underpinning the company (as well as software they sell to clubs and promoters) and regular advise Adam on how to structure and develop it.

Marcel &c
Marcel’s company is a small usability and accessibility consultancy business that works with web and digital media companies who need help in evaluating and defining the way people use their products and services. I helped Marcel develop his idea to go out on his own and worked with him to put his business proposition together. We regularly work together on web technology products, IPTV UI design and his company is the exclusive manager of systems design for BEL.

Text And Sell
Based in Liverpool, TAS is a great example of a simple and brilliant idea – taking a picture of something you want to sell on your mobile, and then posting it to a website as a classified advert. I built the original demo technology for the directors (Chris/Toby), advised them on how to put together their production software and helped them devise a strategy for providing services as a public retail brand and crucially, as a B2B “white label” engine that newspapers could integrate into their own classified systems to fight the erosion of their business caused by eBay.

Use Your Ears
UYE is a classic example of something fascinating and exciting – a passion that is becoming a business. Virgilio and Natalie have created a massive set of resources for the music industry and musicians themselves. As well as being a specialist advisor to their community on digital media, I’m helping them monetise and structure their assets (databases, events and negotiation with the labels they have done so far) into a long-term, profitable business structure and work out ways they can develop it and keep one step ahead.
